One and one-half cups of flour, one cup of sweet milk, two eggs well beaten and two teaspoonfuls of Cleveland's baking powder. Bake in a well heated oven. Mrs. C. Moore.
Two eggs, butter the size of an egg, one cup of milk, one tablespoon of sugar, one heaping teaspoon of Cleveland's baking powder, flour to make a stiff batter. A. K.
Three eggs, one cup of butter, one cup of sugar, one-fourth cup of sour milk and a very little soda. Stir in flour until it is stiff as cake. Very old and tried receipt.
