One pint of milk, one egg, one tablespoonful of sugar, one of melted butter, one-half teaspoonful of LeRoy salt, two teaspoonfuls of Cleveland's baking powder. Flour to make as thick as pancakes. Heat the tins pour in batter and bake in a quick oven.
One pint of cooked oatmeal, one pint of sweet milk, four tablespoonfuls of sugar, two beaten eggs, one teaspoonful of LeRoy salt, two tablespoonfuls of melted butter, two tea-spoonfuls of Cleveland's baking powder and enough flour to stick together. Bake in hot gem pans in quick oven.
Two eggs, one-half teacup of sweet milk, two heaping teaspoonfuls of Cleveland's baking powder, three heaping tablespoonfuls of corn meal, three heaping tablespoonfuls of flour, one-half tablespoonful of butter, one-half teaspoonful of LeRoy salt. Beat the whites separately and add last. Heat the gem tins pour in batter and bake in a quick oven.
