4 large shortcakes.
2 cups Swift'ning Biscuit Mix 2 tablespoons sugar.
1/2 cup milk (about)
Put biscuit in mixing bowl. Add sugar and blend. Put egg into measuring cup. Add enough milk to measure three-fourths cup. Stir together. Add to flour mixture to form a soft dough. Turn onto lightly floured board. Knead six times. Roll out to 1/2-inch thickness. Cut six biscuits with 3-inch cutter. Place two inches apart on baking sheet. Bake. Serve hot or cold, with fruit between and over top of shortcakes.
About 12 minutes.
