Basal-celled tumors of the chin are rare. Sequeira has seen only two such cases. Prickle-celled tumors are also rare. Bloodgood has had two instances of so-called basal-celled tumors where metastases took place to the submental glands, but is inclined to regard them as cuboidal-celled growths. Excision is the best treatment for growths in this locality.
