Filling and frosting for two 9-inch layers or three 8-inch layers.
1/4 cup Swift'ning 3/4 teaspoon salt.
1 egg yolk 2 1/2 cups sifted confectioner's.
1 teaspoon grated lemon rind sugar.
1 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice 2 tablespoons milk.
Cream Swift'ning until soft and creamy. Beat in egg yolk, lemon rind, lemon juice, and salt. Add confectioner's sugar alternately with milk. Beat until smooth and creamy.
