2/3 cup Swift'ning.
1/2 teaspoon soda.
1 2/3 cups sugar.
1 teaspoon salt.
2 teaspoons vanilla.
2 teaspoons double acting baking powder 2 eggs.
3 1/2 cups sifted flour.
1/2 cup heavy sour cream.
Cream Swift'ning, sugar, and vanilla until fluffy. Add eggs, and continue creaming. Sift together flour, soda, salt, and baking powder. Add alternately to creamed mixture with cream. Drop by teaspoonfuls (size walnut) onto ungreased cookie sheet. These cookies do not spread much in baking. These are cake-like cookies. Store in tightly covered tin to retain their softness.
375° F.
12 to 15 minutes.
