1 cup Butter 21/2 cups Flour.
2 Eggs.
1/2 cup Sugar 1/2 cup Milk.
2 teaspoons Baking Powder.
1 teaspoon Almond.
Extract 1 cup Raisins or Jelly or Cooked Prunes or Applesauce.
Mix flour and butter as you would for a pie crust. Add the beaten eggs, sugar, milk and flavoring. Sprinkle the baking powder over the top and mix well. Roll out to 1/4 inch thickness. Spread the filling down the center of this strip and fold the outside edges in. Cut in pieces 3 inches long and bake on a flat tin until brown at 375°.
