The difference in Cost of brick and concrete as shown by these estimates is believed to be very conservative. In many cases under favorable conditions it will be possible to build concrete block walls at a lower Cost, but the difference is sufficient to show that under all ordinary conditions the concrete block wall can successfully compete with brick.
