A woman, aged forty-three years, complained of violent pain in the abdomen after meals, vomiting, and constipation. Under the ensiform cartilage a hard fixed and tender tumour could be felt. After these symptoms had existed for a considerable time an exceptionally violent fit of vomiting caused the expulsion of a large sodden mass of vegetable matter, after which the patient made a good recovery.-Capelle.
