1/4 cup Swift'ning.

1/2 teaspoon paprika.

1/2 cup sifted flour.

2 eggs.

1 teaspoon double acting baking powder.

2 cups (No. 2 can)corn kernels.

1 teaspoon salt.

Sift together flour, baking powder, salt, and paprika. Separate eggs. Beat yolks. Blend with corn. Stir in flour mixture. Beat egg whites. Fold into corn mixture. Heat Swift'ning in a heavy skillet. Drop spoonfuls into hot fat. Turn to brown. Serve hot.
